Number Lambdoma.
The Number Lambdoma is described in Hans Kayser's Handbook of Harmonics,
Zurich 1950 and Leopold Spitzer's Harmonic Symbolism of Baron Thimus, Vienna
1978. The Lambdoma is also described in Plato's Timeaus in the Main Section,
#6 The Soul of the World. In my rendering I have used an Index of 16 with
color coding for all like ratios. I have omitted the 0/0 proportion at the
top left corner as well as its resultant irrational number rows. The 0/0
is a very important concept because it shows that all ratios emanate out
of nothing and it grounds the diagram for monochord geometric study. The
Lambdoma is the primary tool of the Harmonist.
