Number LambdomaThree Dimensional Lambdoma.
The 3D Lambdoma is described by Hans Kayser. For this construction I
used 1 inch square stock applied to an Index 16. The three types of proportions
are clearly visible in this example: Arithmetic (left to right), Harmonic
(bottom right to top) and Geometric (bottom center to top). The Lambdoma
grows to infinity in two directions defining all proportions. It maintains
a 1/1 diagonal beginning in the top left corner proceeding to the right
and infinity. On one side of this diagonal all ratios are greater than 1
and on the other all proportions are less than 1.
