Blaine Rowe
... a love for painting-
Blaine discovered his love for painting at a very early age, when he won a statewide art contest for youngsters. After completing high school, he attended art classes at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. From there he went into an art apprenticeship with a local industrial design studio. Later he was employed in the advertising art field, spending many years as an illustrator. Blaine became one of the top illustrators the St. Paul-Minneapolis area. Before retiring, he was head illustrator for Creative Art Services Inc., doing work on accounts such as 3M Company, Andersen Windows, Control Data, Red Wings Shoe Company, Central Mills, many advertising agencies and printing houses.
His love for paintings took him on many sojourns to the southwestern United States, where many of his pieces were exhibited in galleries. These included O'Brien's Art Emporium of Scottsdale, Ariz., Clark-Wiggins in Palm Springs, California, galleries in Taos and Rudidosa, New Mexico. He has shown at WildWings Gallery in Lake City, Minnesota and many other Minnesota show places.
Blaine is truly an inspirational artist. He loves to paint.
